Laurence Huyghues-Despointes

Laurence expresses herself through sculpture, photography, and jewelry.

The artist engages in a true choreography, searching for the best angle. She designs each sculpture with its own patina and immortalizes the moment.

In line with her commitment to biodiversity, she also utilizes innovative materials such as non-toxic resins that stand out for their environmental impact.

Her plea is for the sea and its inhabitants, an inexhaustible source of inspiration, such as whales, whose arabesques create perfection in the blue waters.

"So many species depend on the health of our oceans and are in danger of extinction. From collisions to organic, bacteriological, and noise pollution, to oil spills, sonars, and wind turbines. Without being binary, let's try to reconcile new technologies that are more respectful of humans, wildlife, and flora."
